Position description
As Supervisor of Mayo Laboratory Inquiry (MLI) you will manage and develop staff who manage the extensive information of a complex laboratory to handle over a million calls a year.

You will work with a wide variety of customers and receive direction from laboratory consultant/director(s), administration, and operations managers.

Qualifications
To be considered for this position you must meet one of the following educational and experience qualifications:
Bachelor's in CLS/MLS/MT + 6 Years of Clinical Laboratory Experience
Bachelor + MLS Certificate + 6 Years of Clinical Laboratory Experience
Bachelor's in Chemistry or a Biological Science + 7 years of Clinical Laboratory Experience
Master + 4 Years of Clinical Laboratory Experience
Bachelors + 4 Years of Laboratory or Management Experience
**This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship with the exception of the TN visa classification; Also, Mayo Clinic DOES NOT participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program.
Additional qualifications
License or certification
ASCP certification or other certification pertinent to the laboratory field may be required depending on the laboratory specialty.

Required education, experience, and tenure, along with internal equity will be considered when an offer is extended. The pay range for this position is $84,500 - $126,900 / annually.

- Individuals hired to this position are required to complete 2 years in this position before becoming eligible to transfer to other positions within Mayo Clinic.

Qualifications
To be considered for this position you must meet one of the following educational and experience qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in clinical laboratory science (CLS), medical laboratory science (MLS), or medical technology (MT)
- And six years of clinical laboratory experience after obtaining the qualified bachelors degree
Bachelor + MLS Certificate + 6 Years of Clinical Laboratory Experience
- Bachelor degree from an accredited institution
- And a certificate in medical laboratory science (MLS) or another clinical laboratory specialty certificate*
- And six years of clinical laboratory experience after obtaining the qualified bachelors degree
Bachelor's in Chemistry or a Biological Science + 7 years of Clinical Laboratory Experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in chemistry or biological science
- And seven years of clinical laboratory experience after obtaining the qualified bachelors degree
Master + 4 Years of Clinical Laboratory Experience
- Master degree from an accredited institution in chemical, physical, biological. clinical laboratory science or medical technology
- And four years of clinical laboratory experience after obtaining the qualified bachelors degrees listed above
Bachelors + 4 Years of Laboratory or Management Experience
- Bachelor degree, preferably in CLS/MLS/MT, management/business, sciences or a health-related field
- And four years of laboratory or management experience
- Certificates will be reviewed and approved on a case-by-case basis.
- DLMP employees that have been in their current lab/position for less than 2 years must attach an early release approval from their supervisor.
