Inclusively is partnering with a major technology company to hire a System Software Engineer.

We are looking for an outstanding software engineer to bring their knowledge in areas like Git internals, source code management, and CI/CD systems to build solutions that will directly improve the quality and velocity of developing software across the company. Description

Our team works on all aspects of the build & release pipeline for our software. In your role as a software engineer, you will spend the majority of your time building services and tools that drive ‘OS-scale’ Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment.

THIS WILL INVOLVE:

  • Collaborating with teams across the company to understand workflow problems and driving the creation of technology to solve them. - Designing services by prototyping, writing RFCs, and working with teammates to refine ideas.
  • Implementing well tested software with supporting documentation.
  • Analyzing and improving the operability and stability of our services on an ongoing basis.

Additional Requirements

These are not hard requirements but this position might be of interest if you have experience with or a desire to learn about:

  • Swift on Server development.
  • Cloud orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes.
  • Content addressable storage technologies.
  • Source code management and Git internals.
  • Source code analysis and indexing.

Pay & Benefits

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $130,000 and $242,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Employees also have the opportunity to become a shareholder through participation in our discretionary employee stock programs.

Our employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in the Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You’ll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career here, reimbursement for certain educational expenses — including tuition. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments as well as relocation.
