Job Description


As an Austin Lane Customer Service/Support Representative, you will service existing and new mobile software accounts in a professional environment. You must be able to rapidly identify the root cause of support calls, able to classify issues between procedural, configuration, or issues with the product. You must be self-motivated with the ability to work effectively on a team. Responsibilities includes training and testing of software products as well as provide ongoing support to customers and provide software demonstrations as requested. Successful candidate will be vibrant, highly motivated, display a strong work ethic, and be well versed with the construction industry and related business processes.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Knowledge of / experience in the Construction Industry preferred.
  • Customer interaction concerning deployment of software.
  • Quickly learn and know ALMobile software products at an advanced level to answer client questions and identify solutions to client issues.
  • Performs logic verification, release testing and beta support for assigned projects.
  • Ability to support and interact with customer base on software concerns or issues in a timely manner.
  • Research problems discovered during software deployments and document defect behavior in a timely manner.
  • Timely and consistent follow through with customer interaction.
  • Ability to prepare technical step-by-step documentation.
  • Ability to work on multiple assigned projects.
  • Participates in development meetings.
  • Drives process improvement.
  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Qualifications and Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business information systems, general business, accounting, or equivalent training and experience.
  • Ability to teach others how to use technology in the construction industry.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Skill to accurately work with and analyze a high volume of data under limited supervision.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint, and Word required, Remote Desktop or LogMe In.
  • Knowledge in construction job cost accounting and payroll processes.
  • Uphold existing quality assurance standards and processes.
  • Identify defects within software against standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organized and detailed oriented.
