Tekno Surgical is a business within the C&C Medtech Division of Uniphar Group (refer to Appendix for further details)
The role
The role, based in Tekno Surgical, is designed to provide a wide variety of support (as defined in Key Outcomes below) to the Field Sales team and the Technical Services team. The role also actively contributes to the company’s Marketing programs.
Key Outcomes
Clinical Sales & Technical Services Support
- Coordinate and manage preparations & records regarding internal and external Training & Education courses for employees and customers across all divisions.
- Coordinate arrangements for clinical sales related workshops incl. all required materials.
- Support new employee induction incl. required supplier training.
- Coordinate all necessary travel arrangements, including expenses submission support.
- Prepare and distribute sales reports to the team, supporting follow-up queries.
- General day-to-day administration in support of the Field base teams.
Marketing Support
- Promote the company’s brand, products, and services across multiple social media channels incl. LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook.
- Monitor email enquiries and potential sales leads, distributing same to the Field Sales teams.
- Ordering and coordination of marketing collateral incl. brochures, samples, merchandise, sawbones etc.
- In relation to new products, manage artwork design and marketing collateral updates incl. brochures, training workbooks, presentations, merchandise etc.
- Actively support and contribute to Tekno Surgical Product Campaigns led by the Medtech Marketing team.
- Support tender submissions to customers, preparing and collating the relevant information.
- Play a leading role in preparing and coordinating Conferences & Exhibitions. This includes attendee planning, sponsorship package, marketing collateral as well as arrangements with the hosting venue.
- In conjunction with the Sales Director and Training & Education Manager / Business Unit Managers, coordinate preparations for annual symposiums and meetings with Customers and Principals.
Key Skills & Experiences
- The successful candidate will have 2-3 years’ relevant experience in a busy environment where they supported many stakeholders.
- Superior organising and planning skills, effectively managing a wide variety of responsibilities.
- Strong customer orientation _ consistent with Tekno’s ethos of not only meeting but exceeding customer expectations.
- Commitment to task _ focused on delivering to deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Very proficient IT skills, particularly the Microsoft Office Suite and Social Media
- Possess a good tolerance of ambiguity _ must be comfortable with a fast paced, changing environment.
- Teamwork _ the role requires working and engaging with a sizable Field Based team.
