Position: Traveling Blitz Team - Solar Consultant

Location: Arlington (DFW Metro area), but will travel to Los Angeles, California

Hiring Timeline: 1-2 weeks


How do we compensate our Blitz Team?

- Average expected yearly earnings from $85,000 - $100,000+

  • Dual compensation plan with weekly commissions and bonuses
  • Sales performance Incentives such as bonuses, trips, and swag
  • Ability to earn housing and/or transportation stipend based on personal performance
  • Ability to earn residual override commissions based on team performance.


Requirements:

Our Traveling Blitz Squad explores and pioneers new Sales Territories nation-wide in preparation for New Markets. They are the first line of contact when selecting management. They are the most disciplined and effective Salesforce that Voltaic employs. Theirs is an even more thorough hiring process, higher performance expectations, and ultimately offers even more aggressive compensation package than their in-market peers. For consideration of employment on our Traveling Blitz Squad you must meet the following criteria:

  • Will need to travel to other markets in and out of the state on a frequent and regular basis.
  • 1 year of Previous Solar and/or door-to-door Sales experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Will be canvassing in a door-to-door setting for qualified homeowner leads.
  • Full-time availability: 40+ hours per week minimum (will be given the ability to choose their own hours)
  • Successfully complete prerequisite online, classroom, and field Solar Sales Training locally.
  • Reliable form of transportation and a working phone.

Role Responsibilities:

  • You will approach 100 or more residential homes in a door-to-door setting every day. The desirable outcome of these interactions is a qualified appointment. Your primary responsibility throughout your career in Solar will be to build and nurture a large pipeline of cold homeowner leads into interested customers as possible.
  • After completing a set training period, you will have the opportunity to receive daily, warm, company-provided leads from other Appointment Setters. Your responsibility will be to understand the value of these leads and work to convert them into closed sales and eventual installs.
  • Educate homeowners at their doorstep on the value of ownership over their household energy through a new asset, monthly and yearly energy cost savings, government tax incentives, and energy equity.
