The Louisiana Academy of Performing Arts has been providing the Greater New Orleans community with only the finest programs in music education for the past forty years.

Our violin and string music programs are a cornerstone within our academy and we are seeking talented, motivated, and qualified violin, viola, and cello teachers with a passion for music education. LAAPA offers flexible schedules, performance opportunities, and a stimulating work environment.

Now hiring for Summer/Fall 2023 teaching opportunities at our campuses in New Orleans, Covington, and Mandeville. We are seeking substitute, summer camp and regular faculty members.

Compensation based on education and experience.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Music Degree or Equivalent Professional Experience
• Ability to conduct weekly private and group lessons and arrange lesson plans
• Outgoing personality
• Ability to make each lesson fun and enjoyable for students of all ages
