JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Warehouse Lead

Department: Operations

Reports to: Warehouse Manager

FLSA Status: Full time/Regular/Non-Exempt
POSITION SUMMARY
The Warehouse Lead supports the Account Managers via proactive participation in supply chain, inventory management, and customer service efforts. This is a physical, fast-paced position that requires the individual to have the physical fitness to maneuver heavy lifting and follow established procedures and maintain a safe, clean working environment.

• Provide guidance and direction to Warehouse Associates

• Assist in training new Warehouse Associates

• Ensure receiving and shipping process runs smoothly

• Pick, pack and ship orders

• Manage will-call schedule

• Respond to customer emails

• Keep warehouse organized and clean

• Perform weekly cycle counts

• Clean/sweep/vacuum shop and outdoor

• Make pick-ups and deliveries

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no direct reports.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with Fishbowl Automation Software

• Experience with Google Apps for Business

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid driver’s license

• 5 years warehouse experience

• Current forklift certification

• Experience with barcode scanning/tracking

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The physical requirements listed are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions and key responsibilities of this position.

The job operates in a warehouse setting. The role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment and office equipment.

The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner at all times. Frequent operation of computer and other office equipment, the ability to sit at a workstation for long periods of time, stand, walk, climb stairs, bend, lift, twist, pull, push, carry, grasp, reach and stoop as need, and to occasionally lift and carry items up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour

• Warehouse experience: 2 years (Required)
