Acumen International is a fine arts logistics company with storage facilities in New York, Los Angeles, and Miami. We are currently looking to hire full time technicians for our two Los Angeles warehouses. We collaborate with museums, galleries, and private collectors in order to realize major artwork exhibitions and installations across the globe. The ideal candidate has experience working in a warehouse environment or art handling, but we encourage all candidates who are driven to learn more about our industry and looking to grow with the company to apply.

Duties:

• Pull artworks from storage and prepare them for upcoming shipments
• Process and label incoming objects for storage
• Keep accurate records of item locations in the company’s database
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Occasionally assist clients in our warehouse viewing room
• Perform detailed inspection reports of artworks

Skills:

• Operate pallet jacks, order pickers, and forklifts.
• Safely operate hand tools and small power tools (Drills, reciprocating saws)
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to Lift over 75 lbs.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Spatial awareness and problem solving skills
• Attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
