Job description

Craftsmen Contractors is looking for a Combo Welder to work at a barge repair facility in Vacherie, LA. The ideal candidate must have experience as a Barge Welder or Combo Welder.

Pay rate is $18.50 to $23.25 depending on experience.

Pay rate will be determined on how you do on your Welding/Fitting test, job performance and job attendance.

• Have at least 2 years of Structural Welding experience.
• Previous experience welding on a barge in the water
• Pass a Welding/Fitting test - stick welding, mild steel and low hydrogen rods.
• Be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Will need to have own hand tools and have all PPE.
