Job description

Our company is seeking a Working Supervisor to oversee the regular execution of project operations. The Working Supervisor will have oversight over the day-to-day operations of the assembly facility, as well as overall responsibility for quality control and job management. The ideal candidate will have experience in frame up, assembly, custom types of fabrication, a good learner of new types of fabrication and will be capable of effectively communicating with team members, and occassionally vendors. We're looking for a team player who can take direction well and works well under pressure.

Responsibilities:

• Have the ability to work and supervise the assembly work in the shop.
• Plan or coordinate the use of construction equipment and tools.
• Inspect workplace conditions and equipment.
• Create training programs for workers.
• Make recommendations regarding the selection and training of new employees.
• Evaluate supervised employees.
• Work as a direct report to the Foreman
• Maintain a clean work environment
• Set up safety policies and practices, such as safety procedures or the wearing of safety gear in a specific workplace, to protect employees from injuries while they perform their jobs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
