We're looking for someone to join our team as a Human Resources Coordinator who:

The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative support and coordination of specific HR administrative processing functions evaluations, employee reclassification, audit coordination and other support services to the Human Resources team.

Essential Functions:

  • Provides support by answering incoming calls and guests to the HR department. Answer’s process questions and directs callers/guests to appropriate HR professional for handling.
  • Serves as the first point of contact for employees reaching out to human resources for support.
  • Provides clear, efficient, and courteous support to employees. Opens cases and enters all required information to ensure clear records of employee cases are maintained, diligently following up and resolving cases in a timely manner. Updates cases throughout resolution process with information gathered from customer follow-ups. Asks questions and seeks support when faced with unfamiliar requests. Adheres to all HR service level agreements.
  • Applies excellent customer service skills to both internal and external customers and staff.
  • Responsible for processing all complex employee transactions into the HRIS system and performs audit measures to maintain data integrity.
  • Processes employee evaluations, reclassifications, new hires, and rate increases appropriately in accordance with established compensation structure and guidelines.
  • Responsible for orchestrating all voluntary resignation processed including exit survey, check request, and HRIS processes.
  • Responsible for providing reports and other needed information from the HCM system monthly and on an as needed basis. An example of monthly reports includes evaluations, physicals, licenses to expire, new hires, terminations for the month, employee address list, etc., for a given month.
  • Develop, maintain, and evaluate data management, storage, and retrieval systems.
  • Assists with tracking all leaves of absence, monitoring LOA timecards, and assuring that COBRA eligible employees are placed on COBRA when appropriate.
  • Assists with the collection of insurance premiums from employees who have gone leave without pay while on a leave of absence and submitting payments to the Controller or Assistant Controller.
  • Assists with workers’ compensation process and serves as liaison to employee, supervisor, occupational medical provider, insurance carrier, etc., to ensure smooth handling of employee related accidents and injuries or other issues relating to workers’ comp.
  • Processes resignations and terminations expediently and ensures that termination packet is complete, sets up the exit interview and ensures the details of the termination are taken care of accordingly, as necessary.
  • Ability to multi-task with strong follow-up and follow-through skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Superior time management skills. Manage quickly changing priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Flexibility to shift priorities as needed to service employees. Demonstrate ability to prioritize tasks as assigned.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative and anticipate needs of employees and organization.
  • Ability to work with highly confidential information with absolute discretion
  • Coordinate’s enrollment, additions, deletions, changes, and termination of company benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, etc.

You'll be successful with the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelors’ degree preferred.
  • Two years responsible experience in HR related field preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, Outlook.)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to type at least 40 words per minute with accuracy.
  • Knowledge of correct punctuation, grammar and spelling required.
  • Well organized and detail oriented.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work successfully.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
  • Must be familiar with operation of office equipment.
  • Must adhere to Clinica Sierra Vista’s employee health/immunization requirements or provide a valid exemption request for subsequent approval.
