Bilingual (Japanese and English) Household Goods Coordinator

Job location: Lexignton, KY

Moving support: Yes, negotiable.

Our client is a well-established international logistics company which has been doing business in the US for many decades. We are currently looking for a bilingual (Japanese and English) candidate who can provide customer service and logistics coordination support, using Japanese and English language skills for our client. At the moving site, you will be packing household items, such as dishes, cups, cooking pans, and etc. while the moving staff is loading and unloading a truck with furniture, boxes, and etc..

Some of the main duties:

• Responsible for customer service, using Japanese and English language skills via phone, email and online, as well as on site.
• Assist customers at the moving site, using Japanese and English language skills. Travel to customers by truck with the moving staff. The moving staff can drive a truck.
• Pack household goods, such as dishes, cups and pans while the moving staff is loading and unloading a truck with furniture, boxes, and so on.
• Handle office administrative tasks, which include preparing and reviewing quote, invoice, packing lists, insurance certificates, and bill of landing.
• Coordinate for moving, using Japanese and English language skills.
• You may drive a car or a company’s van to customers to give them quote and explain about moving service.
• Miscellaneous tasks will be assigned by a manager as needed.

Some of the minimum qualification requirements:

• Fluent in Japanese and English. (You have to know kani and keigo to handle this bilingual job.)
• Able to use Excel.
• Able to provide excellent customer service, using Japanese and English language skills.
• A valid US driver’s license and a car. (Note: there is no public transportation near the facilities.)
• Authorized to work in the US permanently without a visa sponsorship.
• Able to work overtime as needed.
• If you can lift 50 pounds, that’s helpful.
• A team player.
• Able to start in 2 weeks if you receive a job offer.

Compensation: $24/hr

FLSA: Non-exempt

Relocation support: Yes, negotiable.

The hiring company will provide health, dental and vision insurance, as well as a 401k plan to its full-time employees in accordance with the company policy.
