Hiring a part-time maintenance tech to work on Friday/Saturday OR Saturday/Sunday. This position could lead to a fulltime position.

FunVacay, LLC is a Full Service, Luxury Vacation Rental Management Company providing unsurpassed boutique management services at properties in Destin, Miramar Beach, and along 30A.

We are seeking a part-time, skilled maintenance technician to join our team. This person can choose to work on Friday and Saturday OR Saturday and Sunday. The primary role of this position is to provide a proactive maintenance approach to ensure our guests receive premium service and enjoy a luxury experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent troubleshooting skills, knowledge of general maintenance repairs, and preferably have experience in the vacation rental industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs
• Perform repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks as needed
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests
• Communicate effectively regarding maintenance issues and repairs
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work completed
• Ensure all properties meet company and safety standards and regulations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in all workspaces
• Ability to work with team members, owners, and guests in a friendly and professional manner

Requirements:

• Proven experience in maintenance, preferably in the vacation rental industry
• Strong technical skills and proficiency in a variety of maintenance and repair tasks
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion
