BakeMark has immediate job openings for Quality Assurance Supervisor!! QA Supervisor will coordinate the resources, specific quality and related processes for the manufacturing/production departments. Insure that quality parameters are met for manufactured products. Continually upgrade, change, and improve the manufacturing processes, material processes, and other improvements in quality.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervises QA team with oversight by QA Manager.
- Administers the structure and processes necessary to manage the current activities and its projected growth related to raw materials, production quality, packaging, and project implementation.
- Responsible for execution of Food Safety, HACCP, FDA and labeling policies.
- Insures that all production and packaging areas meet and exceed all GMP’s and food safety requirements.
- Responsible for regulatory compliance as it pertains to Manufacturing and Warehouse.
- Manages department when QA Manager is absent.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety rules as stated in the Employee Handbook and otherwise posted or communicated.
- Insures quality and consistency of all products.
- Proposes improvements and changes to manufacturing equipment and processes in keeping with effective operations and cost factors
- Applies total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes within the plant and warehouse.
- Analyzes statistical data and product specifications to insure quality and reliability of finished products.
- Performs testing and analysis of finished products and raw materials.
- Suggests product/plant improvement ideas.
- Performs manufacturing plant/warehouse self-audits.
- Prepares Certificates of Analysis.
- Responsible for California State Acidified Foods program.
- Performs environmental and microbiological monitoring in processing areas.
QUALIFICATIONS:

- General knowledge of internet.
Preferred:
- B.S. degree in a life science or food technology, and a minimum of 2 years in a food processing environment, with increasing responsibilities and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
