Under the supervision and direction of the Director of Retail (DOR), Retail Warehouse Supervisor, and Merchandiser, the Retail Storeroom Clerk Part-Time’s primary duties are to support the operations of the Retail Warehouse. Responsibilities will pertain to the daily operations of receiving, unpacking, tagging, and transferring merchandise into the Warehouse and between the four Turtle Bay Resort retail locations: Surf House, The Shop, Breeze, and North Shore Watershed. Other duties include restocking, checking inventory, PO entry, and assisting the Warehouse Supervisor to maintain organization of the warehouse and inventory.

What you will have an opportunity to do:

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Warehouse Merchandise Management

  • Transporting incoming shipment deliveries to the warehouse from the receiving dock (requires frequent heavy lifting of boxes)
  • Assisting with Purchase Order data entry and inventory monitoring
  • Counting, tagging, sorting, organizing new incoming merchandise
  • Assisting with Purchase Order data entry and inventory monitoring
  • Facilitate transfers of merchandise between the warehouse and retail outlets
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the Warehouse
  • Supporting the DOR, Warehouse Supervisor, and Merchandiser with any allocated duties to support the operations of the retail warehouse and merchandise management on the floor

Community & Culture

  • Acts as liaison with local communities to generate word of mouth marketing of Turtle Bay Resort.
  • Builds relationships with guests, repeat visitors, and local community members.
  • Lives and promotes the Turtle Bay Resort culture and inspires other staff to have fun at work

  • Proven work ethic with utmost integrity and humility
  • Ability to work flexible schedule to include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to move about the retail space and sit and stand/walk for up to 8 hours per day. Ability to lift 30 lbs on a regular basis, push/pull 50-75 lbs, reach overhead and below.
